BERG Regular, InGround or FlatGround?
BERG calls its above-ground models Regular: they stand on legs, with an entry height of 90 to 95 cm on a 430. On a BERG in-ground trampoline (InGround), the frame sits in a pit and the entry stays low: 20 cm on the Favorit InGround 430. A BERG FlatGround trampoline sits completely flush with the grass. FlatGround is available in the Champion, Elite and Ultim series, in sizes including 330, 380, 410, 430 and 500 cm. Rather skip the digging? Then go for a BERG above-ground trampoline.
Favorit, Champion or Elite: what’s the difference?
- Favorit: made for active family use, with an AirFlow jumping mat and BERG springs. Available from 200 to 430 cm, in grey, green or black, and as a set with Safety Net Comfort.
- Champion: TwinSpring springs, an AirFlow jumping mat and 30 mm thick padding for a sportier bounce. From 330 to 430 cm, as a set with Safety Net Deluxe or Deluxe XL.
- Elite: with TwinSpring springs, an AirFlow jumping mat (AirFlow Pro on FlatGround) and 30 mm padding, in 330, 380 and 430 cm.
Want more room to jump? Have a look at the Grand series (350, 470 and 520 cm; the Grand Champion 520 has an elongated 444 x 269 cm jumping mat) or the Ultim series from 280 to 500 cm, where the Ultim Champion 500 has a rectangular 420 x 220 cm jumping mat. The Ultim Pro Bouncer (500 and 5x5) has 60 mm padding and, in the 5x5 version, a 402 x 402 cm jumping mat.
Which BERG size should you choose?
The size in the name (270, 330, 380, 430, 520) is the outside size of the frame; BERG also lists the 430 as 14ft. The jumping mat is smaller: 354 cm on a Favorit or Champion 430, 350 cm on an Elite 430 and 300 cm on the Champion FlatGround 380. So measure the full outside size in your garden and keep extra clear space around and above it.
Net, padding and anchor kit for your BERG
If the name includes “+ Safety Net”, the net is part of the set; without it, the trampoline comes without a net. Choose replacement padding from our trampoline padding by series, size and version, because Champion Regular padding is a different part from Champion InGround or FlatGround padding. For a BERG on legs there is the BERG anchor kit, which according to the product information is suitable for BERG trampolines on legs.
