BFR-3 system

BFR stands for Brake, Freewheel and Reverse (driving backwards). The BFR system has several advantages. For example, you can drive forwards and, straight after coming to a stop, drive backwards with your go-kart. This happens completely automatically, without you having to change gear. Thanks to the back-pedal brake you can brake quickly and hard. The BFR-3 system has 3 gears. These make the go-kart even easier to use. It also helps in reaching higher speeds. For children it can be difficult to keep their feet under control on the pedals at high speeds or in unexpected situations. Thanks to the freewheel, the pedals stop turning as soon as the driver of the go-kart stops pedalling. All this makes for a safe go-kart that children and adults can enjoy a great deal.

Adjustable seat

Thanks to the adjustable seat you can enjoy your go-kart for years. The seat can be placed in 6 different positions, so you can take up the ideal position on the go-kart.

Comfortable riding

BERG go-karts have several features that let you drive around in extra comfort. To begin with, the go-karts have four pneumatic tyres. Pneumatic tyres give more grip on the road and make for a nicer ride. Pneumatic tyres also have less rolling resistance than solid tyres, so you can go faster. The swing axle of the go-kart ensures that all four wheels always touch the ground, even on uneven terrain. Thanks to the double ball steering of the steering system, steering is light and smooth and you are very manoeuvrable. The roller bearings in the wheels let you play for a good long time without getting tired.

Easy to assemble

BERG go-karts are very easy to assemble. The rear axles must be placed left and right in the housing of the chain case. This can be done without opening the chain case. The two bolts on either side must then be tightened. Various components such as the seat, the wheels and the steering wheel still need to be fitted, and you are done already! The frame is also designed so that maintenance can easily be carried out at a later stage. For example, the chain case is easy to open and the chain tensioner is accessible.
