Yamaha Seascooter 275L

The YAMAHA 275L sea scooter is a powerful underwater propulsion vehicle (DPV) equipped with a special 12 V/24 Ah lead-acid battery and capable of reaching a depth of 40 m (130 ft). Navigate at the maximum speed of 5.3 km/h (3.3MPH) for 2 hours. This DPV is particularly suitable for divers and snorkellers who dive often and for long periods, a real workhorse designed for all professionals who depend on their equipment for the success of their dives. Technical diving, cave diving or wreck diving are just a few of the possible uses for this dive scooter. It weighs 14.5kg including battery and is charged in about 12 hours. The design of the seascooter 275L is slightly positive as standard and can easily be changed by installing the weight cables supplied in the package. Buoyancy values relate to the behaviour of the scooter in salt water; fresh water may produce different behaviour, usually with a tendency to sink slightly. To operate the motor you must press both activation buttons and have switched on the main switch. For safety reasons, even if only one of the two activation buttons is released, the DPV will stop. In the event of accidental ingress of water into the battery compartment or motor compartment of the underwater scooter, the built-in sensor will start to emit an audible signal to warn the user of a malfunction.
